S-10 brakes dragging when hot

Got a different caliper from another parts store and put it on and it is working great today. Still dragging.

When you find a place where no back pressure is found then it is between there and the last place you got back pressure.

Pumping the pedal does not result in fluid discharge from the bleeders. Is the lack of the proportioning valve keeping me from building pressure in the entire system?

But ultimately I realized that any pressure further up in the line, no matter the source, could be relieved at the bleeder. The rear breaks need to be adjusted up to the drums so as they drag a bit, so the wheel is not free wheeling when you spin it.

Break pedal low?

what is the purpose of the proportioning valve?

Just go slow and cautious? Proportioning valve is to limit the brake pressure in the rear brakes during a panic stop: I am trying to use the master cyl.

Could have been a bad batch of calipers.
